New website for the Norwegian Royal Family

On the eve of country-wide celebrations in honour of King Harald's 70th birthday in Norway, the new website for the royal family has been released. At Kongehuset, there are new official pictures for King Harald, Queen Sonja, Princess Martha Louise and a micro-site for Crown Prince Haakon, Crown Princess Mette-Marit and their family.

Causing some discussion on royal boards is the fact that the Crown Princess's son, Marius, has his own biography on the website, while Princess Martha Louise's daughters, who are in line to the throne unlike Marius, do not have a biography other than being redirected back to their mother's profile.

However one feels about Marius being positioned so firmly as part of the Norwegian royal family, the new website is at least good eye candy!

The new official portraits of the King and Queen. (The one of the Queen is just radiant.)

The new official portraits of the Crown Princely couple. (The black and white one of Mette-Marit is just stunning!)

Four beautiful portraits of Martha Louise. (I love the last one -- it seems like such a natural pose for her!)
